- [eng] [Anklesaria69] ... thereby is the destruction unto the soul; so that the decision as regards those who direct him to perform yazishn is the performance of dev-worship and absence of holding the laws of Srosh, just as what the Scripture says: [“Of him, verily, did Ahura Mazda say, O Spitama Zarathushtra! we sever his bones with the metallic knife, in material life”.] For, he, Ohrmazd, spoke about him, O Spitaman Zartosht! whilst living, his bodily and vital life is to be hewed down with the metallic knife.
- [eng] [IC] And he/she (is) being smitten (lit.: him/her is the state of being smitten; or: Therefrom there is the state of being smitten ...) concerning the soul, so that the decision on the demon-worshipping and disobedience of the orderes of the worship (is) that which the tradition says: [Av. text] For, on account of him/her he said, (i.e.) Ohrmazd, to Spitāmān Zardušt: “(His/her) body has to be cutup (and) down (while) living and possessing a body and possessing an anima, that is life, for that manner of deeds (thus instead of: his/her body will be cut up with the iron knife).”
